Risk taking behavior in children from foster care

This Bachelor thesis deals with the problems of behavioral disorders, mainly in the context of problematic behaviors related to seeking individual identity. The thesis focuses on adolescents who were accepted into substitute family care and don't have access to the information about their past or biological parents. The aim of the theoretical part was to establish a connection between placement of the child into substitute family care and the development of problematic behavior during adolescence. The theory focused on the identification of specifics of the early stay in institutional state care and the effects of missing information about one's origin, in relation to behavioral disturbances in adolescents. The research component of the work was based on collecting quantitative data from deep conversations which were focused on the context of the development of behavioral disorders in an adolescent male, who grew up in an adoptive family and didn't have available information about his origin or biological family.
The specifics of the educational process for children in school facilities for institutional care

The topic of the thesis is problems of specifics of educational process by children in school facilities for institutional care. The thesis set a goal discover by observation difference between the educational process at ordinary basic school and the educational process at basic school by children's home. Within an educational process the author has been comparing both of types of schools. The theoretical part of thesis defines the educational process and specifics of education of children with behaving disorders. The qualitative research has used to achievement a goal. There have methods of observation and interview used in research. Knowledges and results of research can be exploited to improvement of quality of the educational process in practice.
Recorder as a Therapeutic Agent in Children With Symptoms of Problem Behavior

The topic of this thesis is to use descant recorders (hereinafter recorder) as a therapeutic agent in children with behavioral difficulties. The main aim of the study is to analyze the impact of activities with the recorder on the problem phenomena in the behavior of selected individuals and further explore the views of preschool teachers of their own readiness to manage problem behavior in their classrooms. The theoretical part is mainly engaged in the therapeutic use of recorders and characteristics of problematic behavior. Considerable space is devoted to the review of options to promote desirable behavior in pre school children and areas of music therapy. With regard to the desired objectives mixed research is chosen in the practical part. Using a questionnaire opinions of preschool teachers on the issue of educational difficulties in children are collected and also the possibility to use the recorder for therapeutic purposes. The case studies demonstrate the impact of the recorder on the manifestations of problematic behavior. The conclusion summarizes the findings of the study. Education on proper nutrition in an inclusive 2nd grade elementary school

The diploma thesis deals with the problems of nutrition of pupils of the second grade of primary school and the attitude of teachers who work with these pupils. Specifically, they are the pupils of a primary school focusing on the education of pupils with various special educational needs, in particular, with specific learning disabilities and associated disorders. The aim of this thesis is to explore the situation in the field of nourishment together with pupils' knowledge and attitudes of teachers to nourishment. The knowledge and attitudes to the nutrition are related to pupils of the second level of primary school, composition of diet and use of caffeine, cola and energy drinks. The theoretical part of the thesis is structured into two chapters. The first chapter deals with the problems of specific learning disabilities and behavior disorders in inclusive education, the second chapter deals with the issue of nutrition and health. Support for pupils with behavior problems in the system of institutional care and counseling in the Czech Republic

This bachelor's thesis focuses on supporting pupils with problematic behaviour in the system of institutional care and counseling in the Czech Republic. The work has been written as a summarizing survey compiled of various academic sources and studies. The theoretical part deals with the problem of behavioural disorders, with their specification itself, with their classification and with the causes of their origin. The text then centres on the individual bodies of counseling and institutional care as well as on some of the methods of the cognitive- behavioural therapy which are used in both types of care. The thesis also constitutes of a research proposal which is devised as longitudinal. It focuses on how clients perceive the efficiency of some of the methods of cognitive-behavioural therapy in institutional care and counseling.
